When I think about Mr Frenz's work, his contribution to the Spiderman mythos immediately comes to mind.

So when commissioning him last year, I knew I had to go for a Spiderman-related commission. I thought long and hard about Mr Frenz�s run on Amazing Spider-man and issues 269 & 270 came to mind. I really liked those in which Spidey goes against Firelord, a being way above his power set, and kicks the shit out of him thanks to his new alien costume.Great stuff and memories.

I think mr Frenz did a nice job capturing the feel of those 2 issues in this commission :)

Good choice - those were some fun issues. I like the juxtaposition of Spidey's black costume vs. Firelord's brights in the commission. Came out really nice. Congrats!

Fantastic! This and the Hobgoblin stuff made Frenz one of my favorite Spidey artists. Loved this throwdown (though Firelord was trying hard not to incinerate the whole city and was holding back!). Beautiful commission.
