Omaha The Cat Dancer Nude by Reed Waller

2016 is off to a great start. I read Omaha the Cat Dancer a couple years ago and have been occasionally looking for a piece by Reed ever since. Last year I missed out on a great piece featuring Omaha and Chuck since I didn't have any idea of the market for Reed's work because it hardly ever shows up. Early last year I had tried contacting Reed by the email listed on his site about commissioning a piece and never heard back from him. When I saw this piece listed on ebay with a BIN or make an offer I thought the price was a little high so I sent an offer and it was accepted. I might have overpaid since it is just a drawing and not a finished piece but I wasn't going to let another one slip by me. It is a little older piece though since it was done in 2004.

All in all I am very pleased with the piece. Omaha looks very seductive which you would expect of the piece because of the scene it is based on in the book.
