DescriptionI feel very fortunate to own this fabulous unused cover intended for Web of Spiderman #52, which was published in the letter column of Web #51 announcing Web #52.I personally feel this is a superior page than the cover that was actually used for Web #52, but the powers that be for some funny reason rejected it. I could only guess it is because of the cigar smoking, but who knows. It is still a published pin-up which few Spidey fanatics have probably seen, until today. This page features the Chameleon (Spidey's first super villain) torturing/chastising James Jonah Jameson. I love the Spidey Signal in the background. Thanks to my friend Alex Saviuk for offering this piece to me. Social/Sharing |

A super piece. I saw this from Alex as well and could not figure why it wasn't used. Superb work as usual from Alex.

It's a shame it wasn't published its quite the master piece , either way it's worth it's price in gold , congrats

I saw this as well! Really nice pick up, and I agree, should've been published. Doesn't take away from it being a great piece, though - congrats!

I was wondering why I never saw this in print the next month it was supposed to come out. it was a small thumbnail preview that i first saw this.
