DescriptionFrom the line of Marvel Corner Box paintings by Joe Jusko is the Savage Sub-Mariner! This corner box art is based on the one from Subby's 1960's covers, originally drawn by Big John Buscema! Not only does Joe paint very realistic muscled characters but the beautiful background on this piece really blew me away! I had to confess to Joe that Subby was not the most nostalgic character to me but of the series of these paintings that Joe did this one is my favorites! I love the colors of the water, the lighting and the coral details he added. Imperious Rex indeed!Social/Sharing |

My God there's no end to the greatness of these pieces. If it stopped at three I'm saddened. These are exquisite.

Joe did an amazing painting of my all time favorite characters, after the greatest Big John! Wish I could afford it if it ever was for sale!
