16 x 20" ink on separate inked boards tipped onto large sheet by the artist. 1970, published in West Magazine, several Moscoso comic compilations and also a postcard in 1971. Fantastic and transformative page by one of the masters and creators of the underground movement and so much more...Moscoso was also an illustrator of rock and roll concert posters and rock LPs (notably the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia) and top tier underground comic art, including being a contributor to the seminal Zap Comics. He's one of the "top five". Moscoso created so many iconic 1960s and 70s works...This piece in particular reflects a 2001: a Space Odyssey and LSD influence...I'm thrilled to own this!
