Description

Based on Al Williamson's splash page panel from Outlaw Kid #10 (March 1956) for the story "The Protector." A scan of the original printing is in the "additional images." I told Al Williamson this was my favourite splash for his Atlas work and asked whether he still had the original artwork for this splash page, and he said. "Nope. I don't think I ever got it back. I probably never asked for it back."

Recreated by Bruce McCorkindale in July 2016. The image is on 11" x 17" comic art paper and fills most of the vertical dimensions with wider margins on the side.
