This is the original painting published as the cover to the vintage paperback novel The Ravishers by former fashion model Merle Lynn Browne in 1971. I always wanted a Bama cover featuring a lovely looking woman,and it just so happens that I've always loved the look of a woman in a suit. So when the opportunity to acquire this one presented itself, I made it mine!

Very Nice piece and just in case you don't have it, it's also on page 90 in the James Bama American Realist book. Congrats on getting this Beauty.

Thanks, Ken. Yes, I do have it but thanks just the same. As I recall though, they only reproduced the paperback, not the painting!

STUNNING painting!!! Jim Bama is incredible! I love how he varies the edges (from crisp to soft) to direct our focus, and his subtle use of color is simply breathtaking!
