I was first enamoured of Alex Raymond's Flash Gordon before I was able to
read. I used to look at my older brother and sister's Big Little Books.
Eventually I was able to read the books as well, and developed a life-long
fascination with Alex Raymond's artwork. I was pleased to finally add this Flash Gordon original bought on eBay from Tom Horvitz in June 2001 with
trade "assistance" from Austin Gray, Kelvin Mao and David Mandel. The
acquisition was a dream come true!

Ray, simply astounding! I love Raymond. Flash Gordon is the greatest comic book ever. Some collectors prefer early stages of the strip... I enjoy every single period. Congratulations!!

Just about ay Flash Gordon Sunday (or daily) by Raymond is a wonder to behold. This is no exception, in fact it is just stunningly gorgeous. To think, Raymond and then later, Raboy. Was there ever a daily/Sunday strip that was so blessed with its artistic talent?
