Description

A cockatrice is a monster that looks like a serpent or dragon mixed with a rooster. Common in English mythology, it is variously said to kill with a stare, touch, or breath. I got this piece when I say another cockatrice drawing for sale on Hodge's table. I wish he would have put some detail into the post that obscures the middle of the creature, it looks really plain and in contrast to the rest of the piece. But otherwise, I really like it.
