Description

Top shelf Russ Heath 2x art on this page featuring the 3rd appearance of the Sea Devils from the 1960 story: "Last Dive of the Sea Devils!" Love the detailed work on the sunken ship, divers and UFO in the bottom panel. After this issue of Showcase, the Sea Devils got their own series debuting in September-October 1961 which ran 35 issues. Russ drew the first 10 issues. The early covers were some of the nicest pieces of comic art ever created.
