DescriptionUnused art intended for the Weapons of the Metabaron, a 2007 graphic novel that achieved notoriety mainly due to its extreme tardiness. Travis had plans to paint the entire book, but only completed 29 pgs. in six years time. Serbian artist Zoran Janjetov was then hired to finish the project.This may be the only piece from Metabarons in circulation. Pgs. 2,5,6, and 8 were reported as stolen in 2014 and the rest reside in a private collection. Rendered on two boards and a line is evident where the halves are joined. Published in the Metabarons deluxe hardbound edition. Social/Sharing |
