Description
This is the splash page to a story entitled "King of the Ants" that appeared in Alarming Tales #6, a Harvey comic cover dated November 1958.

The story begins with a warning that the plantation was being attacked by bandits. As they prepare, there is a sudden flash and the head of the installation, Doctor Harry Cross, is reduced to the size of an ant. (Sound familiar??) He helps the ants battle some invaders and the ants make Cross King, but it is he who learns strategy from them. Returned to normal size just as quickly as he had been made small, Cross uses the strategy he learned from the ants to defeat the bandits.

I own the whole story... fun 1950's twice up sci fi. Definitely penciled by Williamson. He inked the first page and some of the second, but the rest is Angelo Torres. The story was written by Dick Wood (who worked with Kirby). Could this be a prelude to Henry Pym?? Harvey ran a number of "ant-man" stories in the 1950's.
