Description

This is one of the first pieces of art I picked up as an "OA collector." When I saw this in Ozi Magaña's portfolio, I was drawn to the realism, the aesthetic, and, of course, the model. Ozi Magaña is an artist based in Oakland, California, whose work is an intersection of popular culture and Mexican iconography. No doubt that "X-23" would be part of his "What If..." series that he describes as "A re-imagining of popular super heroes and super villains with a latino culture aesthetic." Gorgeous X-23 pinup! Love the colored paper with the black inks and the white highlights. Absolutely stunning!
