God Country 5, page 16, Geoff Shaw

I love this series. Sad to see it end. Had the pleasure to meet both Geoff Shaw and Donny Cates at Heroes Con in Charlotte right before the last issue came out. Geoff told me he had a hard time with this page being an upshot of Emmett, because he wanted to make him look "badass". He was happy with the end results, and so am I! Then talked to Donny Cates. He was signing copies of Babyteeth 1 and I pulled out two pages from God Country, and if I recall correctly, he said, "you bastard!". After looking over them for a while, he was hesitant to sign the pages, but he did it anyway. Both guys were really cool and down to earth. Really happy I got to meet them. If you ever have a chance to see either of them at a Con go now while the lines are shortish.
