DescriptionHere is the 1st appearance (within the issue) of Spidey garbed in the Iron Spider armor that Tony Stark designed for him during the 2006-2007 Civil War saga.Been excited about posting this splash for a while, but with the reveal of a variant of this Iron Spider armor at the end of "Spider-Man: Homecoming," and the news that Spidey will be wearing that same costume in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War," I thought it was a good a time as any to share this piece. First, and still th best, Image of Iron Spidey!! If you look on the back of this artwork you'll see the meticulous work Garney did to make sure he rendered the most powerful and impacting image for the suits debut. This work is real special for numerous reasons, love it! So glad it ended up in your collection, Amigo :)

I've been a fan of Ron Garney's ever since he did that Hulk series in the early 2000's, and this is unsurprisingly fabulous. You never cease to surprise with the great Spidey related art you have, Paul!

Very nice ! First appearance of the iron suit. Pretty cool. And I used to own the cover from issue 530, which was basically the next image out of the series, the first cover appearance of the suit...and I sold it to pay for college, but all good. Great piece, certainly a keeper !

Garney is criminally underrated as a Spidey artist, and this splash shows every bit of why. His rendition launched this suit into the top 5 Spidey costumes and injected new life into ASM during Peter's central role in Civil War. I'll never forget this issue. Another amazing piece in your collection, Paul!
