The Joker - Herb Trimpe

When I first met Herb and his wife, Patricia, at the 2014 PCC, everyone wanted Wolverine or the Hulk from him. I asked him which he is asked more to draw, the Hulk or Wolverine, and if he enjoyed drawing the 2 characters? His answer to me was "have you ever seen the movie, Groundhog Day?" We all laughed! So, when I asked him for his rendition of the Joker, he replied that he couldn't remember the last time he had drawn the Joker and thanked me for wanting something different . He said, he would draw it at night in his room so he could take his time on it. I picked it up the next day and couldn't have been happier. What a great man! Thank you Herb (RIP) and Patricia!
