Magik...

Yet another Leonardi treat just in time for Halloween.
I asked Rick for a Magik sketch at a convention (everybody wanted Star Wars related stuff in the line,) because I've always liked this character and the fact that she grew up in limbo with Belasco, had to overcome all sorts of obstacles and of course, for her magic powers and ability to travel between Earth and limbo.
On a more personal note, I wanted her in demonic form as I haven't seen Rick draw her like that (of course, you can prove me wrong as I haven't seen everything he illustrated in the whole creation either.) And although I like her other forms (maybe more than this one even? Can't decide,) had to pick one and start somewhere, you know. Anyway, her other forms will have to wait for another uncanny encounter at a future past convention with Rick.

Of note: this sketch was kind of a head-scratcher for Rick and I think I caught him a bit off guard because he had to start it over again once or twice as he wasn't satisfied with the direction he was heading to. Guess he probably hadn't drawn her for quite a while and had already been drawing one Darth Vader too many at that point.
