Karate Kid vs. Mole Man by Kelly Williams

I've had Kelly Williams on my list of artists to commission for a couple years now and finally got around to him recently. I'd seen a drawing of Mole Man by Kelly before, and I really dug it, so this was an obvious pairing to me. And the result is pure awesomeness! Mole Man appears to be enjoying the heck out of this fight, and Karate Kid is doing some super fancy dodging. And Kelly included Moloids! How cool is that? All those spears and rocks that the Moloids are tossing Karate Kid's way make this look like a small scale war. And check out the details like the dirt coming off of Mole Man's shoes! The color work Kelly did here is just gorgeous. Yeah, I'm very pleased with this commission. Thanks, Kelly!

Most people know that Mole Man is a genius who commands an army of giant monsters in addition to the Moloids. But what most people don't know is that Mole Man is also an excellent hand-to-hand combatant and that he can use his staff in a very acrobatic form of Bôjutsu. AND his staffs usually have hidden weapons and abilities in them. So yeah, Val Armorr's gonna have his hands full with this fight. Karate Kid will have to take out Mole Man rather quickly while avoiding Moloids, or else Mole Man will summon his monster army and then Val would have to beat a hasty retreat until he can return with reinforcements.

You find the most incredible artists I have never heard of! Kelly draws incredible monsters, great choice for this commission. Added to list! :)
