Description

This is my first commissioned cover recreation that's near and dear to my heart. I'm honored to tackle the immortal cover of Peter Parker unmasked and dragged across the skies by The Green Goblin by John Romita Sr. Up till this point I've spent two weeks tracing this image multiple times before finally transferring the image onto a blank cover of Amazing Spider-Man #789. Given it's part of the legacy line it feels right. Etched in microns, this will be followed by copic marker rendering. As to whether I'm allowed creative liberty to create shading and difference in color (i.e. Peter's pants on the interior pages is blue whereas on the cover they're green). More as it develops.
