Dave Cockrum was a master costume/character designer and introduced the new look for Ms. Marvel in this issue. This really helped to differentiate her from Captain Marvel and this look stuck around for many years.

I bought this page in 2007 and I'm glad I've resisted several offers to sell it. Dave only drew issues #20 and 21 and these pages have understandably become harder to come by in recent years. I also like Bob Wiacek's inking here.

Sweet page! Wiacek did a nice job on this story, makiing issue 20's Art a bit more lush than 21's pages.

Thanks! I like both issues, but agree that Wiacek was probably a better fit for Dave's pencils than Milgrom.

Dave's Ms. Marvel costume design was one of his best. Further, the page, especially panels one and two, is a fine example of Bronze Age Marvel action. Cheers!
