DescriptionExcellent cover preliminary for one of my favourite Van Horn stories, Rootin', Tootin' Duck written by John Lustig. It almost has to be inspired by the very similar cover of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #405 (1974), pencilled by Carl Barks, but I find the simple effective layout of this version far superior. The published version (Donald Duck Adventures #2, 1990) was altered slightly and mirrored around the y axis. Signed and inscribed by Van Horn.Social/Sharing |
