This is the wonderful first page from the Judgment Day Prelude Comic, that preceded the Judgment Day miniseries, written by Alan Moore. This page features the first appearance of 3 super cool characters, the Phantom Aviator, the Fog, and John Prophet. This John Prophet was going to be Moore’s pulp style hero before Awesome comics folded. He brought ideas from this character and came up with Tom Strong when he moved to America’s Best Comics. So this is kinda like a first appearance of a Proto Tom Strong : )
