DescriptionSince that I ' m a big fan of Giuseppe Palumbo, I remember that I was very enthusiast when Astoriana publishing gave the assignment to Giuseppe for illustrating some stories about the origin of Diabolik aka " the king of terror", one of the most famous, loved and enduring italian comic character, he was created by Angela Giussani in 1962. I can say that the result is gone beyond my better expectations and previsions, Palumbo' s style, fluid and dynamic, has been really perfect for the character and has been capable to confer at the same time a classic but fresh and modern look at the Diabolik' s adventures. This is the page 124 from " Il grande Diabolik: gli anni perduti nel sangue" (1994). Art is 24 x 33 cm on the standard Fabriano F4 paper board.Social/Sharing |

Beautiful page, as always brilliantly composed and masterfully inked. Palumbo's Diabolik is just great!
