Description

Luckily was in time to grab this "sketch" for sale on Paul Smith's site, as they go in minutes! Sketch doesn't accurately described this finished 8.5" x 11" piece of art. The blue lines are still visible which really makes this dimensional. LOVE Smith's style, I read his run on X-Men as a kid when I had a mail subscription and always thought he was unique in keeping his characters lithe - nimble and agile as all of my favorite characters were! And here's a perfect example, Iron Man in his Silver Age suit and it fits like a glove.

congrats, I know how hard it is to get one from Paul. you have to check th site constantly till I got one I wanted. . Hope you got the character you wanted

Hey thanks Fred! Right on the money, I don't associate Paul and iron Man, but this is so stunning and I loved the way that he handles reflections. And it's the Silver Age costume, the one I really most connect with! Extremely happy.

Wow- what a truly graceful depiction of Iron Man by one of my favorite artists. I'm a bit jealous! I have several pieces by Paul, but none of (my favorite character) shellhead!
