2000 AD Prog 1876 (Jaegir Strigoi)

I've been very much enjoying the ongoing Jaegir storyline which flips the script to focus on the Norts -- "bad guys" of the Rogue Trooper universe. Simon Coleby's art really packs a wallop -- moody drama and stark action with dark inks setting the tone for an intense, often horrific tale. The protagonist Atalia Jaegir is a complicated character with haunting back story and conflicted personal motivations. This particular page shows one of her associates (Klaur, in chem-mask) finishing off a war criminal while Atalia faces a group of hostile street denizens. The different "camera" angles certainly enhance the drama of the situation. Thanks to Stefan for accommodating my interest!
