DescriptionWas fortunate enough to meet Simone and his sister Gloria in NY this year. I've long admired his art but never was able to find him at a show.At his table, Simone had this piece which he had started prior to the show. Spending the weekend with him and his art, I came to see how much deeper and incredible his color work is in person and I particularly love the play of his greens against the yellows. This piece screamed at me, and I knew if I didn't get jump, it would be gone immediately. Thank you again Simone & Gloria, not only for the art, but for everything else. I truly enjoyed the weekend. Love this one! Especially around the eyes where you can tell that he has a scarred face hidden under his mask.

DOOOOOM! You were smiling rather big when that first arrived in your hands. Simply phenomenonal in person, I tried to wait the obligatory 2 minutes before I walked up and asked to see it. I wasn't even sure it was dry yet LOL...Greens and yellows indeed, thanks for sharing!.

Outstanding piece! Simone is such a master painter, his color work has to be seen in person to fully appreciate it. I can only imagine how stunning this is in hand! Congrats!

So awesome! Love the detailing on Doom's scarred face around the eyes. Also, the varying hues of green must really be a sight in person. Great piece. Congrats!
