DescriptionTom Sutton's Werewolf By Night #9 page 24 (Marvel, 1973). One of the best titles of the Marvel horror boom of the early 1970s, Werewolf by Night was blessed with art by some of the greatest talents in the industry, including Mike Ploog and, as in this issue, Tom Sutton. The Werewolf was really Jack Russell (what a great name for a werewolf), who had been afflicted with a family curse that transformed him during the full moon. In this senses-shattering issue, the Werewolf battles the Sinister Sarnak under the streets of a sleeping city! Wonderfully rendered with Sutton's trademark fine linework and attention to detail, this is a great example of some of the best of '70s Marvel. This page measures approximately 10.5" x 15.75" and is in excellent condition.Social/Sharing |
