Description

When Marvel had the glorious idea of merging meglomaniac Norman Osborn with the Carnage symbiote, I believe I may have done some cartwheels. Not good ones, mind you (I believe I fell on my ass), but cartwheels nonetheless. And when I discovered that Ed McGuinness had come up with the final design for the character of the Red Goblin, I believe I googled "Irish jig" and did my best rendition of that (Although I have no Irish blood in me, it seemed better than doing a "Greek jig," which would have been more appropriate for my ancestry).

THEN the most amazing thing happened! I actually got the chance to ACQUIRE the original final design artwork that Ed McGuinness had created for the character -- the same artwork that was used as a variant cover for Amazing Spider-Man issue #797 -- and the same design that was used by every artist that tackled the character moving forward.

And here it is!

Nice! Really like seeing these design pieces and this one doubles as a cover?! Awesome! And it looks great. I, too, thought the Red Goblin was a great add by Slott and team to the Spidey mythos! Congrats!
