Fabulous Carlos Ezquerra spacecraft action from the last episode of the comic adaption of Harry Harrison's 'The Stainless Steel Rat fir President' (1982). I was a big SSR fan in the books, and to then have such a zarjaz adaptation was the icing on the cake.

While Harrison was satirising the 1980s banana republics of Central America, I suspect that Carlos was basing his depiction of the tourist dictatorship of Parisio-Aqui more on the fascist Spain of General Franco that he had left behind in the 1970s...
