Coup D'Etat: Sleeper pg 13 by Jim Lee and Ed Brubaker

In the late 90's and early 2000's, Jim Lee's Wildstorm Studios put out some of my very favorite comics! Amongst those incredible comics are The Authority and Sleeper. This page is thrilling for me to add to my collection, because Jim Lee is drawing The Authority in action! Warren Ellis spun The Authority off from his run on Stormwatch, which was originally created by Jim Lee/Brandon Choi/Scott Clark. It is so fulfilling to see that kind of creative relationship come full circle.
In a second layer of creative fulfillment, Jim Lee is drawing an issue of Sleeper! Ed Brubaker spun his series Sleeper off of a miniseries called Point Blank, which featured characters from Jim Lee's creation WildCATS.
Another thing I love about this page is that Jim Lee inked himself. So cool to see his inking choices as compared to how he looks with Scott Williams' inks!
