I have admired Bill's work for years now. He has a gently weird, subtle - and sometimes not so subtle - sense of humor.

Funny, when I saw the image I thought that it would be amazing for an animal to have lived long enough to get to this situation, and then I read your description.  Obviously extinct.  Perfect.
