DescriptionAnother stunning cover by modern master David Finch. This is the variant cover to New Mutants #13 and features a veritable who's who of mutant superheroes: Angel, Cyclops, Rogue, Cable, Mirage (Danielle Moonstar), and last but not least, Wolverine. This cover incorporates a lot of what I love most about Finch's work, namely, powerful yet believable depictions of incredible beings. Even in a group portrait like this every character's personality radiates from the page. And the detail Finch manages to include is just stunning. Matt (Batt) Banning's powerful inks complement and enhance Finch's pencils perfectly. A wonderful cover, IMHO.Social/Sharing |

I think you need to rename your gallery. It should be called The Relentless Pursuit of Excellence! Anyway, congrats on this gorgeous new addition. As fine a Finch example as I've seen. Wow!

So nice. I think that the X-Men Second Coming storyline covers that Finch did were some of his best ever, and BATT's inks really enhanced his pencils. This is a great example, Bill - must be a sight in person! Congrats!

I guess if you have a hole in your wall that you don't want people to see, then this is an okay cover for that. However, I'm happy to fix that hole in your wall and take this off your hands. Finch is one of those artists who blew out of the gates and was great early on in his career, but then never let up. His Marvel work was fantastic, and I feel he pushed himself even harder at DC creating many especially iconic images in his Dark Knight run. This great cover (another 13) is not only great itself, but a harbinger of things to come. Congratulations on an uncanny acquisition!
