Swan, Curt & Anderson, Murphy - Superman #242 page 03

Here is Murphy Anderson inking Curt Swan in the epic `Sand Superman` story-line. The first two panels show Anderson using silhouette in one panel as a contrast to his masterful delineation of Swan`s pencils in the next.

Slowly, I am gathering up pages from the "Sand Superman" story arc. Here on page three, two thugs beat up a powerless Superman in a junk yard, where a paper-created Chinese monster inhabited by a spirit from the Quarrm dimension dragged him. The two thugs try to take advantage of the monster's abilities to line their own pockets.
