DescriptionHere's the second of the overnight arrivals, art by Chris Ivy and based on the cover of the Roy Thomas-written America vs the Justice Society issue #1 (posted in the comments) --- and I think Chris did an amazing job capturing Jerry Ordway's work on the original cover!The Perisphere is haunted --- by the ghost of the Red Bee! After making some background appearances in earlier issues, the deceased Rick Raleigh appears before some of the heroes and accuses them of murdering him. Mr Terrific, of course, is unconvinced, and asks Dr Occult and Doctor Fate to help him prove that this is some kind of hoax --- and they eventually expose the true villain behind the supposed appearances of the Red Bee - the Spirit King! (As long-time readers will recall, the Spirit King features prominently on the cover of issue #91.) Social/Sharing |
