Description

A continuing commission theme, this piece has a slight variation-with Kirbyland being so completely in Giorgio Comolo's wheelhouse it was easy to substitute it for Slumberland. Its both huge and incredibly beautiful-just a knockout piece and I was floored when I first saw it in person. Even the preliminary pieces he did are fabulous though and probabably worthy of framing by themselves-I would highly recommend working with Giorgio to anyone who wants a super cool commission piece-especially if you love Jack Kirby's work.

What a stunning commission! I love "Little Nemo" and this take-off on it is fabulous. Comolo neatly combines the "Slumberland" set-up with the Kirby-esque universe and does it so perfectly that it seems flawless. I am totally jealous of this marvelous confection. My sincere congratulations, Benno. It's wonderful.
