DescriptionVery happy to post this gem, as I am a HUGE fan of Spider-Man 2099, and a HUGE fan of Ed McGuinness.Long story short, this is a piece that I have owned (on and off and on again) since 2014, when the 2nd series of Spider-Man 2099 was in full swing (pardon the pun). I was hoping it would be used as a cover for one of the issues in that run, but alas it wasn't. That series ended, and a 3rd series came along, but Spider-Man 2099 now had a new, more high tech suit, so my hopes dwindled. And then that series ended. Years went by. But THEN I recently found out that the cover was to FINALLY be published, and not only that, but as the 2nd print cover for an AMAZING SPIDER-MAN cover! And not just ANY Amazing Spider-Man cover, but the milestone 25th issue! And not only THAT, but the issue would involve a cliffhanger involving Spider-Man 2099, which is meant to herald the return of ... dn dn DNNNN ... MARVEL 2099 !! I couldn't be happier! The 2nd print comic came out yesterday, and I enjoyed reading the issue even more the second time. Can't wait to see what Marvel has in store for the upcoming 2099 reboot. Social/Sharing |

Ha ha full circle to published cover! Cool, crazy story. Really like the inks on this, particularly the detailing on the left hand clinging to the wall! Glad this got back to you, Paul - congrats!

Right on, man! Great story and a TOTAL win! As what happens all too often with K Gearon's excllent observations, he said what I was going to say (but first, and better :) ); I also love that left hand clinging to the wall! :)
Great pick up (and drop off and pick up again, from the sound of it :) ). Congrats on a cool cover run!
