DescriptionThis 250th anniversary issue came out today, with gorgeous cover art by Mahmud Asrar!I have been enjoying this series very much, and this issue was jam-packed with guest stars (Peter Parker Spider-Man), birthday celebrations, battle action, the appearance of the Green Goblin from the Ultimate Universe, and a new character named Ultimatum, who as it turns out, is .... this is really gonna blow your mind ... hold onto your hat ... he's actually ... well, you'll just have to read it to find out. There is also a very cool (and quite poignant) additional origin story involving the recently introduced character of Starling, Adrian Toomes' granddaughter. Social/Sharing |

The fourth guy is so big and scary he can’t even fit on the page. Spoiler alert. It’s Hellcow. Paul is trying to get the monopoly on all the Hellcow covers. This is his third cover appearance so you collectors better rush to find the other two before Paul beats you to it.

I've always thought Asrar was a very good artist, but this is probably the most eye catching cover I've ever seen from him. Way to get it before the comic even hits the stands, Paul!

Absolutely one of Asrar’s best pieces. Great layout, composition, and the inks are so darkly nice. Like that he used some screentone, too. I remember seeing this and thinking it won’t sit long...no surprise you nabbed it! Congrats!

It's because of Hellcow wasn't it?

Asrar cover is much, much better in his original version than the published. You see three levels like backgrounds in a theatre. Amazing. Then there is an impressive use of shadows & lights. Here is an Artist that loves to work the old way and he does it in a faboulous way! Superb pick!
