Here's the second layer with the background for a Paperinik cover by Andrea Freccero, published by Egmont. There's also a bonus sketch that seems to be related to the Dragon Lords.
Please also check the other (main) layer (with Paperinik)
here.
For those people not familiar with the Italian Disney characters, Paperinik (Duck Avenger) is Donald Duck playing sort of superhero (secret identity, uses a lot of gadgets created by Gyro Gearloose)... created back in the '70s, he's still very popular (has his own magazine, too).
I did get this piece from a fellow collector that, sadly, is not with us any more (a sudden illness, a few years ago). We shared the same passion for Disney original art and in particular for Freccero's, and I do believe he had a much bigger Freccero's collection than mine at that time. We mostly communicated via IM, proudly sharing our new pieces and having the most pleasant discussions about Disney artwork and comics and more.
He always found the images of Freccero's covers reprinted around the world, and made sure I knew that the covers I owned were also being published in Arabia or China or any other country. I had the chance to meet him in person a few times, always at the Reggio Emilia Comic Con, and in one occasion there, while I was in a queue for a sketch, he surprised me with this piece, a gift for me since he knew I owned the main layer (with the character). He was a gentle and caring soul. I miss you, Luciano.
