Superboy by Gene Gonzales and Simon Gough

Gene Gonzales did a such a fantastic job of drawing Supergirl in her Kingdom Come costume, that I knew I wanted to have him draw Superboy as well in his Ales Ross-designed suit. In the Kingdom Come timeline, both Superboy and Supergirl had went to live in the Legion of Super-Heroes' time permanently, and they wore new Legionnaire costumes. I really love the designs and wish we could have seen them more. Anyway, Gene his usual amazing work here, depicting a happy, handsome Conner Kent soaring over the future Metropolis. I love the shading, the city, and Conner's hair. I sent this piece over to Simon Gough and of course he made this commission look even more gorgeous. I love everything Simon did here, but the coloring on Superboy's face is just stunning. As usual, I cannot thank Gene and Simon enough for the hard work they do with every commission for me.
