Description

This illustration by Lawrence Sterne Stevens was delivered by our friendly neighborhood postman this past Thursday. On the back, it's inscribed, "To my good friend, Lloyd Arthur Eshbach. From Mary Gnaedinger." Gnaedinger was editor of Famous Fantastic Mysteries, and this appeared in the September 1945 issue of that pulp, illustrating "Phra the Phoenician" by Edwin Lester Arnold.
