War Battles #6 p2 (1952) Al Avison Complete Story "Angel in My Pocket"

Complete set of four approximately 15"x22.5" oversized pages for "Angel In My Pocket" story that was published by Harvey Publications in August, 1952. Pencil and inks were provided by Al Avison. The story deals with a Korean War jet pilot talking about mission where he gained his faith, having been shot by Korean pilot, only for Bible given to him before take-off stopping bullet from entering his chest. First page has three staple holes at top left and art work have scattered corner tip wear and dust soiling/aging. Great action-packed story.

Note that last page of the story on back side of artwork contains has "Avison" with return address which is likely why artwork is attributed to him.
