Also in my first fist full of Avengers as I missed the whole Avengers Defenders War as they must have sold at my local spinner rack at 7-11 before I could get to them. I love the Zodiac as villains and felt Brown's art was improving with each issue. Super happy to have anther great representation of one of my favorite early comics. Here is what HA has to say:

Bob Brown and Mike Esposito The Avengers #122 Splash Page 1 Thor and Black Panther Original Art (Marvel, 1974). The battle between the Avengers and the Zodiac is interrupted when the entire warehouse they are in blasts off into space like a rocket! This opening page from the Steve Englehart story "Trapped in Outer Space!" shows the Vision, Black Panther, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and Thor all slammed to the floor as the building hurtles into infinity...and beyond! Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The lower portion has the original indicia stat paste-up. The top header banner may be a replacement stat. There are whiteout text corrections in several places. Toned, with glue residue. In Very Good condition.
