Great example and a great addition to your expansive Carol Day collection. You should thank who ever introduced you to this new addiction, it is like oxygen for you:) Love the lines and shading. Each panel is worthy of a more detailed analysis and appreciation.

It's a huge testement to Wright's skill as an illustrator to make, what is in a large part, conversations between characters so visually interesting. Never heard of this strip until a few years ago, even if I'm from the UK (the newspaper that carried it never made it to the Doyle household), but it certainly makes for a wonderful discovery . . . and it's great to see Wright's work find an appreciative audience on the other side of the pond!
