Description

Boom! Amazing rendition of this enigmatic Quality Comics golden age character by artist extraordinaire Jerry Ordway, sketched on a blank page in the Plastic Man Archives Volume 1. Along with Plastic Man, Phantom Lady and others, the Human Bomb made his debut in Police Comics 1.

No one can do justice to the golden age characters quite like Jerry. This sketch was based on illustrations by the character's creator, Paul Gustavson, who did work for both Quality and Timely. This is one of several Quality sketches I've commissioned in my copies of Police Comics Archives.
