Description

It took some forethought but I managed to center the original 8 x 14" image onto an 11 x 14" piece of Canson 98 lb paper. No trimming required this time, and thank God. And the orientation I've chosen will really feel cinematic with the black bars on the top and bottom. These are traces of the previous image in 2H Staedler pencils. As I'm moving forward and seeing these characters emerging from the rough imagery, I'm confident that I can bring out their best. Teela and Catra are a late addition since they weren't on the 8 x 14" foolscap. I'm keeping everything loose and light in case I have to change things around. I'm not sure if I can include Ninjor as originally intended because I can't figure out where to put him. I'm pushing the boundaries of what people have seen in cartoons and comics, such as Scareglow impaled on the Jawbridge's tooth. Some of the weapons aren't there yet because I'm going to go back to the original rough work and flesh it out there. It'll save the amount of faint lines I couldn't erase. I'm really feeling the power with this so far and I'm just having fun.
