Description

Steve Rude is one of those artists that came along in the early 80's just in time to revitalize my waning interest in contemporary comics. By the time this series rolled out in 1990, he'd already secured a place for himself as one of the greats, a favorite of fans and pros alike. Paired up with a Fleischer-influenced Superman, his Batman similarly went back to his Golden Age roots and the results were nothing short of spectacular and a helluva lot of fun! I have Jim Warden of D.O.A. to thank for this beauty. ("Thanks, Jim Warden!")

I own myself another page from World's Finest, and I really believe that it was one of the finest hours for Rude - adn why are talking about somebody who very rarely have failed to deliver. Great page.
