DescriptionOkay folks, tonight I am posting the final two pages of Web of Spider-Man #65 that I own.***Still looking for pages from this issue, so please let me know if you have one and would be willing to sell to a motivated buyer*** On this page, the Daily Bugle building (which was raised and then dropped by Graviton in the previous issue) is in total shambles. Thomas Fireheart (the current owner of the building) is told by city official Edna Gortch (love that name) that the building is a total loss and should be condemned and razed. Spidey looks on and is greatly saddened, as the Daily Bugle has been like a second home to him. He is also bitter because he believes Thomas Fireheart won't fight the condemnation like J Jonah Jameson would. There may be no action on this page, but there is quite a bit of emotion, and this kind of story telling is what makes Spidey's life so compelling. Social/Sharing |

There may be no action, but there's more to comic art than that. Besides, aside from the emotion you mention, those shots in the final two panels are great! Nice silhouette and great extreme close-up.

Oh no the Daily Bugle Building!! It’s amazing how dramatic Alex made that one look, with the big crowd and frantic faces. Superb line work.

You're right, an emotive page for sure. I really like that silhouetted panel at the bottom left - definitely adds to the weight of the scene. Congrats, Paul, and good luck on closing the rest of the OA from this issue out!

Alex is so underrated. When will more OA collectors recognize his abilities on Spider-Man?
