Richly detailed and masterfully inked page from the series "Brendon", published in Italy by Sergio Bonelli Editore.

Not just comic artist, but even painter and illustrator, Massimo Rotundo (Rome, 1955) is also a brilliant storyboard/concept artist and costume designer. Not by chance he worked for acclaimed movie and theater stars, like Martin Scorsese (Gangs of New York), Paul Verhoeven (Crusade), Julie Taymor (Titus) and Milena Canonero, just to name a few.

Massimo was one of my "teachers" at the "Scuola Romana dei Fumetti", back in the 90s... weird guy and fantastic artist
