Description
While it's always enjoyable to post a complete book, I have to give credit where credit where is due in posting this one. While I was fortunate enough to procure the cover from collector John Cogan many SDCC's ago, it was Bob Binkley who did all the hard work in pulling the interior pages together. Whether that be auctions or tracking down pages from other collectors, he managed to pull off a very difficult task. He then graciously provided me with the opportunity to put the cover and the pages together to complete the book.

Sincere thanks, Bob!

P.S. This is the same description I have for the gallery, but figure most folks leave comments for a complete book on the title splash - so, placing it here again to make sure Bob gets the credit he deserves!

Chris, a superb acquisition. Wow. Aparo was The definitive Batman artist of the Bronze Age. Aparo was unparalleled as an artist, who also inked and lettered most of his work in the 70s. A complete story is the pinnacle of collecting. To get the opportunity to own the whole comic and in this case also the cover makes this an awe inspiring feat. And quite an achievement for Bill who labored for years to put it together. I have purchased complete stories but only completed three so far from scratch. The feeling of getting the last page to complete a story is so powerful, it's beyond description.

Aparo cover, full interior, and childhood memory all at once. Great achievement. Congratulations. You're "The Man" (sorry couldn't resist...😉).

Wow, does Bob take requests?  I've got a whole list of books I would love to put together.  LOL!  Seriously though, this is an absolutely incredible act of generosity.  Not just that he did all the leg work, but allowing the pages to be reunited with the cover.  Not sure I've ever heard of this level of generosity in all my years of collecting.  You should BOTH be proud of yourselves.  Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
