DescriptionThis was a spring 2006 ebay pickup. I really like Paul's pencils, I love Joe's inks (I learned *so* much about inking from studying his work in the old Marvel Universe Handbooks), and these happen to be my favorite "versions" of these two characters - bearded, harpoon-wielding, mad-as-hell Aquaman as written by Peter David, and the Kyle Rayner iteration of Green Lantern, original "crab" mask and all. I forget what the seller said this piece was used for, probably for merchandising of some sort. Anyway, nice for me to pick up two full figure, fully rendered characters in one fell swoop! I've also posted .jpgs of each figure individually so you can get a good look at 'em. Pencil and ink on 11" x 17" Bristol.Social/Sharing |
